NDP Derm alcohol-rub treatment and surgical disinfection of hands and forearms. Prevents hands and foreams from becoming a source of hospital acquired infections.
It is made of a combination of N-Duopropenide (NDP) with alcohols and emollient agents. NDP Derm is effective in 30 seconds against transient flora and in 3 minutes against resident flora of the skin with residual effect.
The presence of Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) in the composition of NDP Derm improves the caring, moisturizing and protection of the skin. Panthenol contributes to tissue regeneration and helps moisturize the lower layers of the skin keeping it fresh and healthy. Its anti-inflammatory effect makes panthenol a commonly used ingredient in cosmetic, ophtalmologic and hair treatment products.
CDC (Centre for Disease Control) guidelines advise the use of an alcohol-based product with emollients to avoid pathogen transmission through health professional hands. Health professionals must be informed that gloves do not provide with a full protection of against hand contamination (HBV, SHV).
